Command Palette

The command palette is one box for two jobs: finding something in your architecture, and doing something without hunting for the button.

Open it with Cmd+K on macOS or Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux, or click the search field in the header. Press Esc to close it.

Before you type

The palette opens on two short lists.

  • Suggested: a few actions that fit the page you are on. In a project you get Start an agent run and New decision (ADR); on the Decisions page, New decision (ADR) comes first; on the dashboard, Create a project and Run an AI discovery.
  • Recent: the last five items you opened, such as projects, decisions, documents or diagram elements. The project you are in is left out. Recent items are kept in your browser, per organization, and are not shared with anyone.

As you type

Matching actions appear immediately at the top. From two characters on, results from your architecture appear below them: projects, systems, containers, components, code elements, decisions, documents, API contracts, event channels, flows, whiteboards and technologies.

Matching ignores case and accents, and every word you type must match. Actions also answer to English terms in every interface language, so billing finds the subscription page even when the app is in French.

Use ↑ and ↓ to move, Enter to run the highlighted line.

What the actions cover

Group Actions
Create Create a project, new flow, new whiteboard. Inside a project: new decision (ADR), new document, new API contract
Run Run an AI discovery. Inside a project: start an agent run
Go to Dashboard, global architecture, organization maturity, insights, technologies, releases, flows, whiteboards, integrations, history, Agent Hub and its Fleet, Runs and Connectors tabs, organization members, your profile, API keys, MCP server and notification settings
Go to, inside a project Diagram, list, decisions, documentation, APIs, change requests, discussions, releases, drift, architecture as code and project settings

A create action opens the page it belongs to and its creation form in one step. Start an agent run opens the same dialog as the Runs tab, for the project you are in, and takes you to the run once it starts.

What you see depends on your role

The palette only lists actions you can run. Viewers do not see create or run actions. Organization settings beyond the member list (teams, settings, subscription, webhooks, AI settings, bot) appear for organization admins only.

When an action has its own keyboard shortcut on the current page, the palette shows it next to the action. For example, on the Decisions page, New decision (ADR) shows N. Press Shift+? anywhere for the full list of shortcuts.
