Ownership Map

A mapping from system elements (services, modules, pipelines) to the team or person accountable for them.

What is Ownership Map?

Ownership is the single most important metadata a large codebase can carry. When an incident, a security alert, or a dependency upgrade lands, the first question is always "who owns this?" — and an ownership map turns that from a 20-minute archaeology dig into a one-click lookup.
