What is Dynamic Diagram?
The dynamic diagram reuses systems, containers or components from the static C4 model and numbers the interactions between them to show the order of events in a single feature, story or use case. It can be drawn in a collaboration style (free layout, numbered arrows) or a sequence style (lifelines, time running down). Each interaction should be an instance of a relationship that already exists in the static model. The C4 model recommends using dynamic diagrams sparingly, for flows with complicated or recurring interactions.
Also known as: c4 dynamic diagram, runtime view, c4 sequence diagram.
